Dubai Customs showcases its leading smart services experience to the WCO’s Permanent Technical Committee in Brussels
Dubai Customs recently took part in a session for the WCO’s Permanent Technical Committee (PTC) in Brussels. The session was held to unify standards, highlight customs procedures improvement studies, and provide best IT solutions for challenges and emerging issues for customs administrations of the WCO member states.
Younis Othman, Director of Information Technology Department at the Customs Development Division in Dubai Customs, showcased DC’s leading experience in deploying top-notch technical solutions to facilitate trade and secure borders, in response to the initiative of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, UAE Vice-President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai, to transform Dubai into the world’s smartest city within 3 years, by taking services quality and delivery channels to a new height.
