Dubai Customs Presentsits Vision in Customs Work Development at 'Global Customs and Trade Facilitation' Summit
Held annually in Dubai, the 2014 edition ofGlobal Trade Development Week – EMEA will be held from 27th to 29th October. Hosted by the UAE Ministry of Economy, this major trade forum will host over 600 trade leaders from over 90 nations and 120 speakers. As part of the activities held for the Global Trade Development Week, the 'Global Customs and Trade Facilitation' summit will take place.
This summit will be held in partnership with Dubai Customs; the world’s leading Customs department in developing Customs work, with the objective of facilitating global trade and investment. H.E. Ahmed Mahboob Musabih, Director of Dubai Customs, shall deliver a speech at the summit; addressing the Customs role in boosting economic competitiveness and international trade development. Musabih will also showcase DC’s experience in Customs systems’ development and the utilization of the latest IT applications to facilitate legitimate trade.
